I went to the library and found two images I’m thinking of using. I’m not sure which one I’ll use just yet.

Here’s my animation so far. I really like the literary meaning of pomegranates so I thought of animating one being opened!
Lou The image of Freda Kahlo is perfect for what we are doing. Marilyn Monroe is artwork, we want photos, so the original image of Marilyn would work but I would use Freda for now.
ReplyDeleteJust make sure you have the right resolution. Make a canvas in Photoshop that is designed for print that is 11"x17" and paste the scan into that window. If it is too small then you don't have enough resolution. Remember, this project is designing for print, much different than designing for online. By now, you should be separating the subject from the background and playing with the composition, and some of sex with layering in blending modes and posting this progress this week. Nice start.
